26 km paddling distance Bregica beach. A hidden paradise with a sandy beach (Nr 15 in the map). You need 7 hours for this exploration that you will start from the Water Sports and Birdwatching Centre in Shkodra Lake. Shiroka, the abandoned villa on the island, steamboat shipwreck following Buna River with a great view of Rozafa Castle while paddling under the Buna bridges.
When Drini River joins BUNA, the stream is stronger and chillier like a cold shower after sauna. The view keeps on changing enjoying the peace with thousands of birds around. There are some river shore beaches and restaurants where you can enjoy a drink or something to eat. In the last 5 km you will be paddling in the border of Albania and Montenegro (If you stop on the right side or western part of the river bank, you are in Montenegro). The magic lies because you can’t expect to find such a beautiful sandy beach in the middle of nowhere. There is a restaurant where you can enjoy some tasty food and some drinks while waiting for the transfer.
